Thirumal is the supreme God of Vaishnava religion. The Saint of Thirumal is said to be Alvar. It is equal to the Nayanmars who is the Saint of Saiva religion. The meaning of "AL" is drowning. The meaning of Alwar is a person who deeply involved in the thoughts of Thirumal without involved in the pleasures of world. They used to say Thirumal as by eating food, drinking water, etc. The saiva followers are 63 and then the vaishnava followers are 12 Alvars.

He is the author of Mudhal Andhadi and he sang a song of 100 numbers. His special is the aspect of Thirumal conch. People used to call him as Poet and Header.He is born in Thiruvekka poigai, so he used to be called as Poigai Alvar . He used to learn every thing by the grace of Thirumal. So he is fully involved in the charity of Thirumal. He is the first person in the world who shows Nalayira Divya Prabhandam. He is always having the thoughts of Thirumal in the mind in his life. So he ignore himself and sing a song of Thirumal with pleasures. Hari and the Shiva are the same. The worshippers of Hari do not hate Shiva and the worshippers of Shiva do not blame Hari. He is always used to say these words to the people. Along with this, he worshipped Hari and he used to put his service to Hari till his life end. He implies that the nature of the soul is to reach God and mixing together. So missing of god is the reason for sorrowness. once, he went to ThirukovilurMirugandu Muni Ashram and there Bhoothathalvar and Peyalvar are arrived .Thirumal showed himself with conch and chakra.
BHOOTHATH ALVAR (Birth Place is Mahabalipuram in the 7th century)
He wrote the book of second Thiruvantati and sang a song of 100 numbers. His special is the aspect of Thirumal Katayuda Amsa. He did not like the world life and so he had a deep devotion to god Thirumal. He is the second Alvar among the first three Alvars. He met Poigai Alvar and Peyalvar in the Thirukovilur temple and got happiness. He went to more places for spreading the Perumal's fame. He didn't done Mangalacacanam in 108 Tirupati. He done Mangalacacanam in 14 temples along with other Alvars. He done Mangalacacanam in 13 Divyadesam individually.
PEYALVAR (He is born in Mylapore in 7th century)
He wrote the book of Third Tiruvantati and he sang a song of 100 numbers. His special is the aspect of Thirumal's Katkam sword Amsa. He is born in Sevvarali flower which is blossomed miracally in Aadhikesava perumal temple in chennai. He is excelled in school education from his childhood. His mind is always seek Thirumal. He is always done many charity to Thirumal . We have to give respect and head bow to Thirumal 's legs and then automatically our reactions gone out. Later it never come back,

THIRUMALISAI ALVAR (He is born in Thirumalisai near Kancheepuram in 7th century)
He wrote the book of Nanmukan Tiruvantati and Thiruchata virutam. He sang a song of 216 numbers. His special aspect is Sakarathalvar Amsa. His father name is Maharishi, But he was adopted by Thiruvalan. But Alvar didn't drink milk from his childhood. So one agriculturist brought some boiled milk to him along with his wife. Alvar drink it every day. One day, he drink half a milk and gave the remaining milk to them to drink. Agriculturist and his wife drink the remaining milk and after this, they become so young. He named his new born baby as Kannikannan because of glory of milk. He became the disciple of Thirumalisai. He belongs to saiva samayam. Peyalvar changed Thirumalisai Alvar into Vainava religion. Once he went to Kancheepuram and give charity to perumal in Thiruvengudi Thiruthalam. There he gave young age to grandmother who is cleaning the Ashram for long years. Now she is a charming girl and so she married pallava king because of her beauty. The King desired to get young age so he asked Kalikannan. But he said that Alvar didn't give blessing to every one. So the Pallava King ordered him to hijack from the country. This news spreaded to Thirumalisai Alvar. He told that he is also ready to go along with his disciple. Alvar told Kanchi Varadharaja Perumal to come along with him. Perumal also came with them. Then they went to Kumbakonam. Among 108 tirupati, he done mangalacacanam in 11 temples along with other Alvars and 2 temples individually.

Rama is born in Raghu kula and he is the son of Dasharatha. He married Seethadevi and led a life of Aegapathini virathan. He kept the promise of his father . He killed a giant called Ravana and saved the people. Ramayana is one of our epics and it includes the incarnations of Rama and his achievements. Sri Rama Navami is celebrated on the day of Vishnu took the avatar of Rama. Every year devotees enjoyed this festival. Before the ten days of Rama's birth and after the ten days of his avatar. So totally people celebrated 20 days of festival. During these days, people took some fasting, bhajans and get the knowledge of Ramayana and Rama’s chievements. For devotees butter milk, panagam, chickpeas and fan will be provided. When Sri Rama spend time with Visuvamitra muni and he went to forest for 14 years, he used to drink only butter milk and panagam. So to recall this, these two are kept for Rama as Neivethyam and provided to the pilgrims. In the temple of Vaishnavas, special ceremony is held for Sri Rama avatar . In houses, people kept dumplings, lentil, butter, payasam for Rama and done poojas. In some houses, they are keep Ramayana books in front of the Rama's photo and do some poojas.
Rama Namam is the best namam among thousand namam of Bhagavan. On Rama Navami day, If we used to say Rama namam and wrote Rama namam means we can get good things. Rama namam is used to purify the heart and used to withdraw the desires and used to get some wisdom of god. It is also used to withdraw ignorance, lust and evil. Sri Rama was born in the world and he shows people how to live and how to behave with neighbours, brothers, parents, wife, husband and childrens.
A British person who does not know our languages, culture, feelings got some blessings. This was happened in 1884. At that time, British ruled Tamil Nadu. Madhurandagam, a place which is next to Chennai having a lake , Collector Bryce came here and he also saw the temple. At that time, heavy rainfall continues for a long time. People get afraid of bursting that took place on lake . At midnight, Collector leaves his shelter to see the lake. Rain water filled the lake fully and it provides a very scary scene. He thought that he came here from his country to this country to die and so he was very afraid. He prayed the Rama to save us and he saw the scene of Rama and Lakshmanan both having bowed and arrow and they are present there to protect the lake without bursting. Lake did not take bursting. Rain also stopped. The collector Bryce was so happy because he got the good result from his prayers. So he had done some charity to that Rama temple. That temple Rama is to be called as “Lake saved God ". The inscriptions can be seen today. In Tamil Nadu, a town and village has Rama temple and no town is seen without Rama temple. In India, there is no place which is not having a sign of living of Rama. From Kashmir to Kanniyakumari, there is no person available without knowing Rama even after having different languages and different cultures.

Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa Ayyappan is one of the Hindu God. Ayyappan is mostly worshipped in Srilanka, Kerala & Tamil Nadu. Sabarimala is the Hindu pilgrimage. The main worship of Ayyappan Occurs in Sabarimala. Ayyanar is one of the incarnation Avatar of Ayyappan. Sabarimala is located in the western ghat mountains in Pattanthitha district of Kerala. It is one of the Hindu pilgrimage centre. Swami Ayyappan killed a monster named Mahishi. After that, he done meditation in Sabarimala.
Lord Ayyappan Temple is located in between 18 mountains and It is present in the top of a mountain. When compared with the average sea level, it is found at an altitude of 914 meters. It is surrounded by mountains and forests. The surrounded mountains having each one- one temple. Yearly 45-50 million devotees coming to Sabarimala. All around the world, it is a shrine which people is highly visited. Every devotee of Sabarimala are not consider any caste, religion, race, status or social status in their mind.
However,women aged of 10-50 are not allowed to enter into the temple. Women are not allowed because of some Historical tales of menstrual cycle. The main reason for not allowing women to this temple is as Ayyappan is a bachelor. The regional prayers are done in the first five days of every malayalam month and the temple is open for this prayers.

PILGRIMAGE:
The Devotees should accept some penance during 41 days of the pilgrimage. The first day, they used to wear Thulasi Mala or Rudhraksha Mala in the neck. From that day, the devotee start their penance and so they wont eat meat, fish, alcohol, tobacco and avoid sexual contact with women and avoiding foul words and they wont remove their hair and moustache. The devotees must follow these rules for their pilgrimage. Every day they should visit local temple to do prayer and they must wear only traditional clothes which is having black, blue or saffron colours only.
The first part of this journey starting from Erumely to Aludha river. After crossing Alutha mountain, to reach Karivilam thodu. Now crosses the sacred Karimala and then crosses the Cheriyanavattam and Valliyanavattam and finally reach Pamba river. The pilgrims who follow the Thiruvabharana kosha Pilgrimage must stay in the place of Aaranmula Kettaram. Alternatively many pilgrims use vehicles to reach Pamba river. Finally all the pilgrims have to cross the mountainous forest trekking path of 4 km to reach Sabarimala. This pathway is now developed with shops and medical facilities by the sides. The pilgrims who came from long distance to get Darshan of Ayyappa, Online facility is arranged by Kerala Police. So the pilgrims will book earlier to get darshan.
HARIVARASANAM &NEYYABHISHEGAM:In the night, before crosing the temple, Harivarasanam song is played. It is a lullaby song which is played for Lord Ayyappa in Sabarimala before god is going to sleep. Sri Kambakudi kulathur Srinivas Iyer is composed this lullaby song. He sang this song in front of Lord Ayyappa after Attala pooja done. With the efforts of Swami Vimochanananda, it can be accepted as lullaby by Thantri and Mershanthi. This song is composed of 352 characters, 108 words and 32 lines. Although many versions of this song sung by famous singers, the temple only plays this song which is sung by Yesudoss.
Sabarimala offers the prasadam of Appam and Aravana Payasam. The prasadam is prepared by using rice, ghee and sugar. The rice which is used for the prasadam is supplied from Chettikulangarai Devi temple. This temple is the second largest temple under the Travancore Devasvam situated in Mavelikara.The main ritual was practiced in the temple,(ie) Devotees carry ghee on their heads or irumuti or pallikattu ( a bag which is made up of cotton cloth used to bear the offerings for Sabarimala temple).
The Sacred idol is to pour the ghee on Mula Vikragham of Swami Ayyappa and it is Neyyabhishegam. This concept refers to a sacred merging of Jeevatma with Paramatma. A saffron colour Irumuti is used by the pilgrims on his first journey and the others use black or blue colour irumuti.
The pilgrimage to the temple, the devotees will get unparalled knowledge and understanding, in sanskrit, Tat Tvam Asi means "That is you" ( Every individual is a god ) So the pilgrims call another pilgrims as "Swami".

Krishna Jayanthi is celebrated as Hindu religious festival and the birth of Lord Krishna is called as Krishna Jayanthi. So the hindu people is celebrated this festival annually. In Hindus calender, it is celebrated on the month of avani, the eighth day from the full moon day on Rohini Nakshatra. In Gregorian calender, this festival is celebrated in the month of August and September. In south india, it is celebrated as Gokulashtami and it is also celebrated as in the name of Ashtami Rohini in Kerala. In India, it is celebrated in the different names.
In North India, Krishna Jayanthi is celebrated as in the form of Rasa lila and Dahi handi. Rasa lila is nothing but it is a drama which describes the life of Lord Krishna in his childhood. Dahi handi is one kind of game and it is otherwise called as uriadi. It is an event of forming teams of young people to make a pyramids of human to hit a high-hanging pot which contains butter. It is a major event on that day.In south India, it is celebrated as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami. Brahmins, Yadhavas, Chettiars and Pillais are celebrating this festival. Lord Krishna birth occurs at mid night and so poojas are done in the evening. Sweets and Savouries are prepared and then women put rangolis on the ground by using rice flour. If any boy child are present in home means people decorates him like an Infant Krishna and put foot prints on ground by using rice flour to represent the arrival of Lord Krishna from the entrance of house to pooja room.
Lord Krishna is born in Madhura. His parents are Vasudeva and Devagi. He is the eighth child of them. To protect Lord Krishna from his abusive uncle called Kamsa, the King of Madhura. Vasudeva bring krishna to Brindavanam which is present beyond from Yamuna river. In Brindavanam he keep his son in the house of Yadhavas couple of Nandagopar and Yasodha.There Lord krishna playing a flute, cattle herding, playing with friends and the time spent for doing naughty things like butter theif (ie) he theft butter which is present in pot from all the houses present in the Brindavanam. So he is a naughty boy of Brindavanam.To attack Krishna,the king Kamsa sent some Asura but lord krishna killed them. In his younger age, he plays with younger girls called gopis. but he has an divine love with Radha. These stories are called as Rasa lila. When he reached an adult age, he went to Madhura and killed Kamsa and handed over the Kingdom to his grandfather, Ugrasena. Then he make friendship with his aunt's son Pandavas especially he became a friend of Arjuna. Then he gone to Dwaraka along with Madhura people and started his own Kingdom there. Kurukshetra war occurs between Pandavas and Kauravas. In that, Lord krishna gave his sena to Kauravas and he acted as Arjuna's charioteer. Before the war getting started, the conversation started between Lord krishna and Arjuna. this conversation is called as Bhagavad Gita. Lateron, he live with his wife called Rukmini in Dwaraka and he became the king of yadavas. Then he was killed by the hunters arrow in the forest. Yadavas started to quarrel among themselves and destroyed themselves. Finally Dwaraka is destroyed.
Lord Krishna is the God of Hindhu people. This avathar is one of the avathar of Lord Vishnu. In Bhagavad Gita and Mahabharatham mythology lord Krishna details are available in it. The tamil people call Lord Krishna as kannan and the North Indian people call him as Kannaiah. Apart this, Kesavan, Govindan, Gopalan are the other names of Lord krishna. Krishna having a total of 16,108 wives but all of them are considered to be the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi. The first son of Rukmini is pradyumna.
It is the one of the main scriptures of Hindu religious people. In Mahabharatha, before started Kurukshetra war, Arjuna visited opposition parties. They are his relatives, friends, teachers etc. So he refused to fight with them. Lord Krishna saw this and told him to fight against them no sentimental issues are involved. Amarnath Shiva Darshan Yatra -Amarnath Chalo
Amarnath cave temple is located in Jammu & Kashmir. In ancient times, it is considered as important Hindus cave temple and 5000 year old hindu temple. The mulavar of this temple is Amarnath (Lord Shiva). The Linga which is made up of ice is located inside the Amarnath Ashram. This Linga is melted during the period of May and August and later on, it automatically reform into Linga. The reformation of ice linga is mainly based on the development of moon. According to Hindu Mythology, Lord Shiva reports to parvathi about the secrets of life. The ice statue of Goddess Parvathi and lord Ganesha are available here. The height of this cave temple is 3,888 metres and it is far away from the distance of 141km from srinagar. There are chances available to attack this temple by Islamic Extremists. So this cave temple is observed by Indian army. Therefore, people should seek prior permission of Indian Government to go to Amarnath Yatra.
AMARNATH TEMPLE HISTORY:
Amarnath temple is present in the beautiful state of Jammu & Kashmir and it is located in the lower part of the Himalayas. This cave temple is situated at a height of 4000 feet above the sealevel. In this cave, a Stalagmite is present which have the shapes of Linga, Parvathi and Ganesha. The devotees of Lord Shiva is well known the history of Amarnath temple. The Shravanimela festival is celebrated here. So many of the Lord Shiva Devotees gone there during the festival time. The Amarnath temple history details are mentioned in the ancient text of Bhringish Samhita. Amarnath is also known as Amareshwar and the pilgrims used to go there around the time of Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan. The Amarnath Pilgrimage is conducted from the month of Ashadha to Shravana. So many of the people including Hindu, sikh and muslim people going there on that time. Finally it becomes tourist spots for the people.
AMARNATH YATRA:
The Amarnath Yatra is one of the most popular pilgrimage site for Hindus. There are many mythological stories available in Amarnath yatra. Amarnath cave temple plays a major tourist place and it is attracted by the people because of ice linga, ice formation of Lord Ganesha and Goddess parvathi. There are 3 routes available to go for this temple. one is by airways (by helicopter) and the other two by roadways.
* One Roadway is from Jammu to Pahalgam to Amarnath cave. Initially people gone to Jammu by air and from Jammu they are gone to Pahalgam at a distance of 315 km by using taxi and bus. The Government of Jammu & Kashmir provide taxis and buses for travelling. After reaching Pahalgam, they are gone to Amarnath cave via chandanwari, pissu top, sheshnag and panchtarni and finally reach Amarnath temple.
* Another roadway route is from Jammu to Baltal to Amarnath. The distance of Jammu to Amarnath is about 400kms. The visitors passing through a beautiful valleys, steeped mountains and so this make a memorable to visitor throughout their life.
* The third route to reach Amarnath by using Helicopters.

PHYSICAL FITNESS:
Before going to Amarnath yatra, one should do some activities for their smooth travelling. Compulsarily, one should walk in their trip. So before going to yatra, everyday walk for 4 hrs in the morning or evening for one month. Apart from this, one should take body massage by using mustard oil and take bath of warm water for 1 month. By doing all these things, one should never get too much of tired and so it will be very easy to get a trip of Amarnath temple.
BREATHING:
Before going to yatra, one should compulsarily practice yoga exercise (ie) Prana yama. Because when one make a journey on foot, especially in the mountain, scarcity of oxygen occurs, so to avoid this one should practice deep breathing exercise.
ADVICES:
* One should keep his clothes and eatables in plastic bags because of the rain.
* one should have sufficient money for his accomodation.
* Always carry eatables and luggage along with them to avoid inconvenience.
* One should carry Medical kit with them.
* One should keep enchanting "Om namah shivaya" during his trip.
* Avoid intake of alcohol.
* sarees are not comfortable to women while walking so wear comfortable clothes.
* Children and aged people are not allowed for this trip because the nature of the trip is unsuitable.
During yatra one should carry gloves, raincoat, torch light, waterproof shoes, vaseline, sweater and woolen clothes. Because these are all suitable for that climatic condition. Eatables like dry fruits, biscuits, honey, lemon, chocolates, milk powder, sugar baked grams etc. If you follow and carry all these things, you will have a nice and comfortable trip.

Pranams To Lotus Feet Of Shirdi Sai Baba
Life History:
In Maharashtra, Shirdi village is present on the bank of the river Godavari. In that village, an ancient mosque is present and there was a neem tree present in the back of the mosque. An eight- year old boy sitting in the neem tree and he was doing meditation. The village leader wife Pajyapay find the boy who is having the face of the divine circle of light around him and she invite him to her home. But the boy refused to go to her home and he continues doing meditation. But the affectionate women is not satisfied and so she told him that everyday she used to bring the food and sure he should eat it. The boy is agreed to it.
Everyday she brought food to him and he also ate it. So there is a mother and child relationship found between both of them. Kanthopa temple is present nearby to the neem tree. The priest of this temple saw the divine light around the boy and so he used to call him as "sai". Sometime later, the boy left the town. Then he gone to many town and he done temple worshipment. One day he met a vendor named chandu patil and the vendor wondered about the divine nature of the boy and so he insisted that he should attend his daughter wedding. The boy assured to attend it. To attend the marriage, the boy returned to shirdi. At that time, the boy was sixteen years old . There he was searching neem tree which is he already sat for doing meditation and found it.
The priest of the Kanthopa temple came and saw the boy. The village people asked the boy that why he always sat in the neem tree. The boy replied that this neem tree is his guru. Then he showed certain area in the neem tree and asked them to dig up it. After a little bit depth, there is a small room and light is burning in it. All the people are wondered and they considered the boy as an incarnation of god. Then the village people started to do poojas for him. From that day, the boy started for performing miracles.
The priest already call him as sai and the people also call him as Baba. Finally all of them began to call as "Sai Baba". This is about the history of Shirdi Sai Baba. Shirdi Sai Baba done many wonderful things to all the people. Then the people get amazed and they are in love with him. His miracles are spreaded to next town. So the people also began to come from all other towns. He always used to show miracles to remove the sorrow of people and make them happy. He worship Lord Krishna although he stayed in Islamic mosque entitled to their faith. So he used to told their religious-based differences to them. After this two religious people came to him. Sai Baba gave good advice to people and helped them.

*This truth connects the man with God. God is living in every human being. In every period, every person can understand God.
Shirdi Sai Baba done many miracles and one person named as Butt, an advocate introduced to Sai Baba. Butt had trust on him. Shirdi Sai Baba told him to build one separate house for his cemetery. Butt built it. Abdul, an poor fellow stayed with Baba to serve him. Baba died on 15th october 1918. Nowadays people also came to shirdi and worship him with faith. More pilgrims are primarily gone to Tirumala Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh. Secondarily more pilgrims are arriving to Shirdi to worship Baba. This is one of the significant here.
